UNISET A Series Alkaline phenolic resin and UNISER Hardener series

UNISET A series series resins are phenol formaldehyde-based no bake resins that can be cured with esters. UNISER series of hardeners are used for curing of UNISET series resins. As a result of the development of resin and hardener a stable curing speed is obtained and the change of  that curing speed with changing sand temperature can be easily estimated. UNISET can be used to bind both silica, olivine and chromite sand.

Different types of UNISER types are formed from different types of esters to acquire a desired curing speed. Whole series of UNISER hardeners can be used with the entire UNISET resin series.

Resin and hardeners can be supplied in 65 kg cans , 250 kg drums and 1250 kg IBC containers.

UNISET A2

Can be used in the making of all molds and cores. Provides long bench times, especially in hot climates. Even if a fast continuous sand mixer is not available, with S-type traditional sand mixers, a high wetting performance will increase productivity and lowers addition values. By providing high-performance sand reclamation ratios to the system, will reduce costs for new sand.

           

UNISET A3

Özellikle otomatik derecesiz kalıplama hatlarında kullanılmak üzere geliştirilmiş bir reçinedir. Otomatik kalıplama hattında uzun çalışma süresi ve kısa sıyırma süresi ile kalıplama sayısını arttırır. Hızlı kürleşme özelliği nedeni ile otomatik sıyırma aparatına girmek için gereken süreyi hızlandırarak, model kasetlerinin doldurulması arasında beklemyi en düşük seviyeye indirir. Sıyırma sonrası ise boyama ve kapama için maniplatör ile kaldırıldığında sağladığı yüksek dayanım nedeni ile dişlerden kaymayı en aza indirir ve üretim hızını arttırır. Kumda sağladığı yüksek yenilenebilme özelliğine ek olarak çok düşük katma oranlarında hem reçine hem de sertleştirici kullanımında tasarruf sağlar.
         

UNISET A20

UNISET A20 is a member of new generation no‐bake alkaline phenolic resins, cured with ester based UNISER series of catalysts. UNISET A20 is developed for high mechanical strength, easy breakdown after pouring and superior surface finish for castings. High bench time to strip time ratio provides cores and moulds less vulnerable to alterations in application, low resin ratios and a better working environment for the foundrymen. Since UNISET A20 is developed with low inorganic alkaline content without compromising strength values, foundries can achieve a higher yield on reclaimed sand. With its superior mixing properties, UNISET A20 provides the same strength all over the mould. For a better working environment and a cleaner casting, UNISET A20 is designed to have low gas emissions. For high alloy and stainless steel castings, a nitrogen and solvent free version coded UNISET A20P can also be supplied to decrease the possibility of gas defects.
         

UNISET A23

UNISET A23, is a member of new generation ester cured alkaline phenolic no‐bake sand binders, designed for longer bench times, higher mould strength and superior casting surfaces. UNISER series catalysts are used to eliminate the changes of curing speeds which are caused by ambient / sand temperature and mould size. Higher bench time / curing time ratios help the foundrymen work more efficiently, use decreased addition rates, protect the mould and cores from temperature and other application fluctuations.UNISET A23 especially shows higher performance on bigger moulds or moulds that are prepared with high ambient / sand temperature. For high alloy and stainless steel castings, a nitrogen and solvent free version coded UNISET A23P can also be supplied to decrease the possibility of gas defects.
         

UNISET A25

UNISET A25 is a member of new generation no‐bake alkaline phenolic resins, cured with ester based UNISER series of catalysts. UNISET A25 is developed for high mechanical strength, easy breakdown after pouring and superior surface finish for castings. With automatic moulding lines, even with lower addition ratios, even flaskless moulds exhibit a higher strength which enables the use of a manipulator within short intervals after stripping. With its superior mixing properties, UNISET A25 provides the same strength all over the mould. For a better working environment and a cleaner casting, UNISET A25 is designed to have low gas emissions. For high alloy and stainless steel castings, a nitrogen and solvent free version coded UNISET A25P can also be supplied to decrease the possibility of gas defects.

 

UNISER AK Series Hardeners

These ester based hardeners can be used with 20 - 25% addition rate (based on resin) with all of UNISET series resins. AK series hardeners designed to accomplish various curing speeds, from fast curing times for small and fast molding procedures (UNISER AK 4) to large moulds where a long bench time is a necessity (UNISER AK 121), and all different curing speeds necessary in between
